How to Delete Your Data
At Finnrick, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so at any time by following these steps:
For Registered Users
- Log in to your Finnrick account
- Navigate to Account Security
- Scroll to the "Delete Account" section
- Click on "Delete My Account"
- Confirm your decision when prompted
For Non-Registered Users
If you've submitted information to us without creating an account (such as a test request with an email address), you can request data deletion by:
- Sending an email to privacy@finnrick.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request"
- Including the email address you used when submitting information to us
- Specifying what data you would like us to delete
We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email once completed.
What Happens When Your Data is Deleted
When you delete your account or request data deletion:
- All personally identifiable information is permanently removed from our systems
- Your email address and contact details are removed from our database
- Your subscription preferences and communication history are deleted
- All test requests associated with your account are anonymized
Important Note
Account deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover any of your information or activity history.
Data Retention for Test Results
While we delete your personal information upon request, we may retain anonymized test results for statistical and quality assurance purposes. These anonymized results:
- Cannot be traced back to your identity
- Are used to maintain the integrity of our product and vendor ratings
- Help us improve our testing methodologies and service quality
If you have specific concerns about anonymized data, please include this in your deletion request, and we will address your concerns individually.
